The DPA 4017C Shotgun Compact Pencil Microphone is a powerful, compact and extra-lightweight shotgun microphone with groundbreaking design features ensuring great results on any production project. Measuring just 154mm and weighing in at 70g, the 4017C sets a new standard for shotgun microphones. The microphone is immune to RF emissions and handles up to 146dB SPL before clipping.

The DPA 4017 mic capsule makes use of DPA’s Interference Tube Technology, a unique method of forming the 4017’s directional polar pattern, and their painstakingly engineered mic diaphragms to give the 4017C shotgun mic its superior sound quality.
