Description
Need to move a lot of channels between MADI, Dante and a computer? The Solid State Logic UMD192 does it in one compact half-rack box. It passes audio both ways between any two formats and sends a split feed to the third at the same time. That makes it a single solution for multitrack recording, virtual soundcheck, console-to-network bridging and broadcast feeds, replacing a rack of separate converters.
It's built for jobs where failure isn't an option. You can run up to three dual-redundant MADI links. It can be powered from mains, PoE or USB, so you can build in power backup. The front panel locks so your routing stays as you set it. On a Mac it's plug-and-play with no drivers, and Windows runs SSL's ASIO driver. Every unit is tested and configured before it leaves us, ready for live, broadcast or studio work.
